Buona Pasqua

It seems fitting….Buona Pasqua! In the midst of succulent Easter lamb dishes and rivers of red wine, this almondy cake remains the staple of every Italian kitchen.

The traditional Italian Easter cake…la colomba pasquale. But, for us kids, Kinder eggs were the real deal. In fact, I am headed to Foods of All Nations in Charlottesville to get some and celebrate in style. Happy eating!

    I gave out kinder eggs this year for the 1st time- c loved them. will have to make it a tradition! can’t wait to try some of these yummy dishes… xo B
